Resolving Sync Errors
All source entities with sync errors are displayed on the Sync Errors page. With the errors correction window managers can view resolve one or multiple failed synchronizations by resyncing them.
Search Sync Errors
To review the error history of an entity:
- Navigate to the Sync Errors page.
- Click the triangle to open the error history.
- Set filters if needed (by default, they match the global filter values on this page).
- Read the error message.
- Click the Advanced Search button.
- Set the search filter.
Resolve Errors
To resolve an error, SyncNow operators can choose one of two methods:
- Resynchronizing
- Dismissing the error, marking it as not important
Resolve Errors with ReSync
To resynchronize multiple entities at once, follow these steps:
- Select the entities.
- Click the preferred way to resolve.
- The synchronization will start.
- After successful resynchronization, you will be able to find them under the Resolved filter set to Resynchronized.
Resolve Errors – ReSync All Errors
To resynchronize all entities at once, press the Resynchronize All Entities button.
Resolve Errors – Dismiss
To dismiss errors in multiple entities at once, follow these steps (Figure 5, 6):
- Select the entities.
- Click the preferred way to resolve.
- Resolved entities can be found under the Resolved filter set to Dismissed.
Resolve Errors – Dismiss All Errors
To dismiss all errors at once, press the Dismiss All Errors button.
Mark Dismissed Errors as Not Resolved
- Select entities to undo the Dismiss action.
- Click the Set as Unresolved button.
- Entities can be found under the Resolved filter set to No.
